Let’s grow together!

Our chapter is eager to promote rich, native landscapes and the wild creatures that depend on them, including how to welcome them into our yards and public spaces.  In order to do this, we strive to offer as many opportunities as possible to group members and the public… but wouldn’t you like to help us do more?

If you think you share our passion or simply can help, we have numerous volunteer opportunities available that vary in time, commitment, and skill level. These include:

  • Outreach and Education
  • Leading a Wild Ones project – i.e., managing a garden, designing/planting a new garden, etc.
  • Native Plant Sale Volunteer
  • Executive Committee
  • Committee Chair
    – Hospitality (open chair)
    – Fundraising (open chair)
  • Committee Member
    – Community Projects
    – Membership
    – Site Visits
    – Special Events
    – Programs
    – Speakers Bureau
    – Social Media
    – Newsletter
    – Hospitality

Do any of these activities interest you? We’d love to hear from you even if you feel hesitant. After all, our group is made up of unique individuals and every one of them brings something different and valuable to our whole. We hope you’ll join us!
